Hello my friends, I will be writing again about Greece :)

This year brought a lot of new things to our family life. Just two months before our trip to Greece we found out a wonderful and most beautiful news that any family could get. Popovic family will be bigger for one new member! Words can not describe all of our happiness. We were ready to become gentle and proud parents :) :) :)

For summer vacation in 2010, we choose to meet with our best man Ivan and his wife Nevena in Chaniotis, Greece and after that, we visited Paralia where our friends and other family members joined us . First, I will write a little about Chaniotis. If you are not familiar with this resort, you have to know that this is a very famous greek summer town which is located on the first ring of Chalkidiki, called Kassandra. Chaniotis is a very peaceful tourist place, with a lot of positive things you have to experience. You will be welcomed by shingly mix of sand and tiny pebbles and sea that has azure blue color. There is a vast amount of parks and verdures. Besides the beautiful beach, we enjoyed with our best man and his wife in different kinds of water sports, We spent evenings in the traditional Greek taverns where we enjoyed seafood meals with a combination of amazing red wine. :)

After a couple of summer holidays where we visited all the possible parties in every club, this year we decided to have a quiet vacation and maximum relaxation because of Marina’s pregnancy. For those who have never been in Chaniotis, Greece I would love to write a couple of sentences for people who find this destination interesting. Chaniotis has a lot to offer. it is an attractive place for the youngster and older generation at the same time. You will be fascinated by the kindness of Greek people and their amazingly tasty food :) :) Besides that, you can find lot of discotheques and clubs where young people can party whole day and night :)  We were not in the mood for the clubs, but we were very interested in local taverns with national cuisine where you eat meals like greek salad, tzatziki, fish and seafood meals, Greek Gyros and many more… Me and Ivan enjoyed the most in this part of the day 😉 If you get bored in Chaniotis, you can visit near tourist places like Pefkochori or Polihrono. DSC01581

I can only say that we had an extraordinary time with our dear friends (as always) and this is the vacation that we will remember as first time where we relaxed on the proper way. No parties, no lot of drinks, just hanging out with best friends and enjoying sea and the sun. :) Still, it was the vacation full of laugh and fun and it was just great :) Greece is maybe our favorite place for vacations and again we were full of fond memories. :)

And if you thought that this was the end of journey in Greece, you are wrong :) After Chaniotis, we continued our holiday in Paralia, our favorite place for relaxation and fun.  On the photos below, you will see that our dear family joined us and we all had an amazing time together. DSC01658

Beach days with our dearest family members were amazing, lot of fun, games and stories. We all enjoyed in every second spent on the beach. After peaceful Chaniotis , it was time for at least little party time and you know how we like to party. :) Just this time in family style, the best possible way there is :)
